UnrealityThe majority of the footage was recorded on an handheld iPhone, and the voiceovers were done using the memo app. A screen recording was used to capture the video of me on the computer at the end. I discussed a personal topic I wouldn't normally disclose in order to adhere to the project's guidelines.

TaekwondoI captured the martial arts club's typical routine using a gimbal and a DSLR camera, and I edited it so that the screen is divided into two or more halves. The project description specifies that the split images and sound must relate or respond to one another.

PostI filmed happy scenes as well as the breaking of bottles using a DSLR and an iPhone, both handheld. The memo app was used to record the voice-over. I then edited the footage and audio in such a way that something new is learnt and discovered as the video progresses, as required by the project guidelines.

MotionUsing a DSLR camera and a tripod, I recorded two long takes that highlight dynamic compositions as well as how movement and other elements within the scene interact with one another and the camera.

UnderneathI worked with other filmmakers in the class to produce footage with a cult theme that featured us as the actors. We each developed a choreography routine, and mine was a circle dance with palms touching. Regarding the remainder of the film, I had the idea of having the girls braid hair, of being dragged into the woods, and of staging a stabbing. I assisted with camera work as needed, using either a DSLR or an iPhone on a tripod. We each edited separately for the final video, creating our own version from the available footage. The audio consists of royalty-free sounds obtained from the internet.

InjuryAs per the documentary guidelines, I conducted an interview with a dancer over zoom and recorded our conversation via the program. I then enlisted the help of another dancer to react to bits of the interview that I had selected through movement. I used a camcorder and shot handheld.

Break Down Your WallsThis project required us to either recreate or put our own spin on a scene from the film "Pina". I was inspired by the part in the movie where the man in the blue tux has to catch the woman in the black dress who keeps falling forward while on or near the stairs. The dancers in my short film were given checkpoints where they had to execute a particular dance move at that area, like the lamp pole, but I essentially left the choreography up to them. Filming was done with a camcorder and a tripod. During the editing stage, the video was slowed down. The audio was from a royalty-free music site.

Breath of the WorldI shot a long take with a tripod and DSLR, then sped it up in post-production to create a time lapse. I turned the video upside down during the editing process. An audio recorder was used to capture the cricket sounds placed at the beginning and end. I arranged the E4 and F4 notes that I downloaded from a site that offered royalty-free sounds in order to create the violin music.
